Derived from an original French design called the casement door, Andersen® redefined the traditional French sliding patio door category in 1985 with the introduction of the revolutionary Frenchwood® sliding patio door. Andersen’s sliding Frenchwood patio doors combine the traditional styling of French doors with the space saving convenience of a sliding patio door—adding a beautiful touch to your home.
