Stylish Window Backsplash Ideas For Your Kitchen

It’s a mistake to say that your windows are the least visually appealing part of your home. On the contrary, and with the right design elements in place, your kitchen space can be a truly attractive part of your home in its own right. Renewal by Andersen® of Portland discusses how to do this using stylish window backsplashes.

Wall-to-Wall Window Backsplash

If you haven’t decided yet on what replacement windows to get for your sink, then we suggest the wall-to-wall window backsplash. As its name suggests, this window runs along its length from wall to wall. It’s ideal for smaller kitchen spaces since the length of the window adds a sense of space and some much needed natural light.

Frosted Window Backsplash

Frosted windows may seem out-of-place this summer, but they are a great backsplash idea if you want a large window backsplash that doesn’t reveal too much of your home. This works well regardless of the size of the window and works perfectly with both picture windows and double-hung designs.

The Tiled-In Window

Tile is arguably the most popular backsplash material, and it complements your new replacement windows for your kitchen. As its name implies, this window is bordered by the tile backsplash that acts as a pseudo window frame. We recommend this if you don’t want to radically change the look of your kitchen backsplash since all you really need to do is create a space for the window to sit in on the backsplash.

Corner Window Backsplash

A seamless corner window backsplash is great for contemporary and ultra-modern homes, and helps gives your kitchen a cleaner and spacious look. We suggest using clear caulk instead of a window frame for this kind of backsplash so that it complements your kitchen’s architectural style.
