Yesterday, several members of our team spent the morning volunteering at Michael’s Place. Michael’s Place offers community inclusion for Adults with Developmental Disabilities that are dedicated to providing a challenging work and recreational program to help individuals grow in self-esteem, confidence, socialization, and to receive recognition for their accomplishments.
We spent the morning assisting the participants in their daily routine of working and caring for miniature horses.
We also enjoyed the fun that games that followed with crafts, puzzles, air hockey, and WII bowling!
We had such a wonderful day and loved meeting some amazing new people!
