Renewal by Andersen® Window Customization Options

If you’re looking for replacement windows that can be fully customized, look no further than Renewal by Andersen®. Read on as we share a look at our wide-ranging window replacement customization options.

Fibrex® Material Frames

The foundation of quality replacement windows begins with the frames. Instead of conventional vinyl or wood, Renewal by Andersen replacement windows are made from Fibrex, our exclusive composite material, which is the product of decades of research and testing. Made from wood fibers and polymer, it combines the low-maintenance benefits of vinyl with the natural durability, insulation and beauty of wood. As an extruded material, it can be shaped into virtually any profile with precision and zero waste.

Color Options

You don’t have to settle for frames with single colors or pre-selected interior and exterior color pairs. Our window replacement customization options include a wide selection of colors. Choose from six interior colors (White, Canvas, Sandtone, Terratone, Dark Bronze and Black), three stainable real wood interior options (Pine, Oak and Maple), and nine exterior colors (White, Canvas, Sandtone, Terratone, Cocoa Bean, Dark Bronze, Forest Green, Red Rock and Black). This wide selection of colors let you home in on the perfect windows to match your home’s color palette.

Hardware Styles and Finishes

We offer an even wider selection of hardware styles and finishes that will fine tune your window design requirements. In addition to our White and Stone finishes to various Nickel, Bronze, Chrome and Brass textures, our all-Black window frames come with matching Black hardware.

Window Grilles

Window grilles are that small but crucial piece that can add architectural authenticity to any window style. We offer grille styles such as Farmhouse, Colonial and Prairie in three grille types:

  • Full Divided Light Grilles — These grilles replicate the look of traditional grilles, with permanently applied exterior Fibrex grilles, aluminum spacers and a permanent or removable interior grille.
  • Between-the-Glass — These are aluminum grilles that are permanently installed between the glass panes.
  • Interior Wood Grilles — These grilles snap onto clips on the sash interior and are removable for easy cleaning.
