Video: Renewal by Andersen®: Custom Built in the U.S.

Renewal by Andersen® replacement windows are custom built in the U.S., and we’re very proud of that fact. In this blog, Renewal by Andersen of Portland discusses the advantages of choosing locally made products.

Superior Quality

When you hear a product is “made in America,” you think of superior quality and skilled craftsmanship. You think of products built to last. These are the characteristics every homeowner is looking for when it comes to replacement windows. Our replacement windows are crafted at our facilities in Minnesota and undergo strict quality checks before they’re delivered to our customers’ homes.

Our commitment to providing top-quality products has driven us to come up with innovative solutions. As the full-service window replacement division of Andersen Corporation, we benefit from over a century’s worth of research and development. Our Fibrex® material frames and High Performance™ Low-E4® glass packages are two innovations that have changed the landscape of the replacement window industry.

More Jobs

We believe in supporting local communities by hiring the best in the area, from installers to office administrators. Over the past few years, we have added over 750 jobs and continue to add more as demand for our replacement windows increases. We also have our own logistics department that takes care of delivering the completed replacement windows from our facilities to our customers’ homes, ready for installation.

Environmental Stewardship

We follow strict guidelines prescribed by the Environmental Protection Agency, and we are proud to say that we have made significant headway in minimizing our impact on the environment. In addition to continuously improving our manufacturing processes, our products are responsibly manufactured.

Our exclusive Fibrex frames contain up to 40% reclaimed wood fiber by weight. These wood fibers come from the wood trimmings at Andersen Corporation’s woodworking facilities. Additionally, our High-Performance  Low-E4 glass packages contain up to 12% reclaimed glass by weight. We are proud to be the only window company that’s received the prestigious Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Indoor Advantage Gold™ distinction for meeting the strictest indoor air emission standard in the country.
