The Renewal by Andersen® Visualizer – Windows That Fit Perfectly

The Renewal by Andersen® Window and Door Visualizer™ has made window replacement easier and less stressful than ever before.

This free, easy-to-use online tool allows you to see how different window styles would look in your home before making a purchase by uploading photos of your home and customizing windows to best match your property. Utilizing interior and exterior photos, you can customize styles, frames and colors to find the best replacement window design for your exact property.

Below find a step-by-step look at how the window visualizer tool works to ensure that your replacement window ordering process is as easy as possible.

Step 1 – Take Photos

To get the best results, we recommend taking photos of your home on a clear day and uploading them to the Window and Door Visualizer. Any smartphone that lets you take photos and save them to your computer should be okay. Take photos of the sides of your home where the windows and patio doors will go (including the interior sides), then follow the Window and Door Visualizer’s on-screen instructions for uploading photos. If you can’t take photos of your home, you can use sample photos in the program.

Step 2 – Prepare Your Photos

Once the photos are successfully uploaded, the Window and Door Visualizer will ask you to identify the places in your home where the replacement windows and patio doors will go. The simple on-screen instructions will guide you in defining the scale of the image. The dimensions of the windows and patio doors will then be automatically calculated as you add them.

Step 3 – Design Your Windows and Patio Doors

Now you can start designing replacement windows and patio doors. You can mix and match various window styles, frame colors and grille designs, as well as different sash configurations. You can play around with as many designs as you like and save your work as you go.

Step 4 – Save and Print

You have the option to save or print your designs for later reference by clicking on the Review tab. The saved design will also include specifications, which will be useful later if you decide to use one of your designs. We will simply take accurate measurements, tweak the designs during a consultation, and then craft the replacement windows and patio doors.
